Traditional rapid pregnancy tests mainly rely on urine samples to confirm pregnancy by detecting human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG). Saliva pregnancy tests, on the other hand, analyze trace amounts of hCG in saliva and use highly sensitive immunochromatographic technology to achieve early detection under non-invasive conditions.
